Ocean series/fish fossils

Inspired by the ocean, a walk down the beach and the discovery of fossil fish remains.

This collection is inspired by lathe work and the comfort of family dinners and the spindles on the back of dining room chairs.

The ivy collection is inspired by my love of gardening and the continuous growth in nature.

Shells are inspired by my continued fascination with the ocean and water and the textures and forms created by nature. 

Squiggle

The discovery of a mangled toothbrush in the crevice of the streetcar track was the original motivation for this collection along with the investigation of creatures like porcupines and hedgehogs.
